Energy surcharge at gîtes

If you rent a holiday home, ask whether the extra costs are included, fixed per night or charged by meter; those are the three forms Gîtes de Wallonie mentions. At Villa Faro, energy is included up to a limit per night: at full occupancy 0.6 m³ of water, 75 kWh of electricity and 2.5 m³ of gas, with lower limits if you book for fewer people. The tourist tax is € 1.50 per person per night and the deposit € 500 (2 people) or € 700 (3 or more) (villafarodurbuy.be).
