🧖 Welcome to wellness in the Ardennes
After a day hiking in the High Fens or along the Ourthe, few things are as lovely as warm water and a sauna. In the Ardennes you can do that at the thermal baths of Spa, in a hotel's wellness area or in your own cottage with a hot tub; Spa is about 5½ hours' drive from London via the Channel Tunnel, plus the crossing.

🚗 Getting there from London
From London you drive via the Channel Tunnel or the Dover–Calais ferry, Dunkirk, the Brussels ring (R0) and Liège to Spa. For Bouillon you head south through Wallonia instead.

🛁 Prefer private: cottages and wellness just for you
Don't want to share the sauna or hot tub with anyone? Then you have two options.

Yes: the Thermes de Spa, the Balmoral Wellness Center in Spa (€ 19 per day) and, on weekdays, the thermal baths of the Quartier Latin in Marche-en-Famenne. At the Daft in Malmedy you rent the wellness area privately for 2 hours.
Can children go to the Thermes de Spa?
No, you must be at least 15 years old. With kids you are better off at a hotel with its own pool; at the Silva Hôtel Spa-Balmoral children may use the wellness area from 7 to 10 am and from 6 to 8 pm.
